Global Bridges will present a one-day workshop — "Role of Health Care Systems and Providers in Changing Tobacco Dependence Treatment and Tobacco Policy" — on March 19, 2012, prior to the 15th World Conference on Tobacco OR Health (WCTOH) in Singapore.

All interested WCTOH participants are welcome to attend.

The objectives of this workshop are to:

Share updates and perspectives on recent developments in treatment
Discuss critical issues, including the importance of basic infrastructure, broad reach and training
Discuss what needs to happen next in developing evidence-based treatment worldwide

It is also important to highlight and position the role of cessation in controlling tobacco use within other policies especially Tobacco free Health care facilities and their role on TC.
